in all reality a smiter in lld shouldnt touch anything that isnt another melee char range, or bowa (but bowa wins lul)

This, hybrids are bm and decrep is bm.

Smiters place in lld is fine where it is. It's a good support in tvt and does well vs other low tier builds. There have been plenty of successful smiters throughout lld.

Yes, I've been llding for 15 years. I've seen plenty of people say smiters weren't strong enough.
That being said, the only people I've seen begging for hybrids being gm were shit players.

I agree, generally speaking. But I also look at smite (not v/t) at level 30 and what putting an EoP on them does, and tbh, its not going to make a huge difference in the end from what I see. The lawbringer thing is bm by decrep, the hybrid part of it is just a compounding factor.

EoP on smiter absolutely makes a huge difference. You'll be able to beat nec/druid/blizz/plague/barb 1v1 and have a decent chance vs trap which is a pretty big change from "loses to literally everything"

I'm not saying it would make smiter broken because it would still be a tier 2 or 3 build but allowing hybrids to make a shit build less shitty doesn't seem like a useful change. Just play a build that isn't shit

I agree with the nec/blizz/plague part of that, but its w/e and I'd need a long bit of explanation why I disagree on the others which I don't feel like getting into atm. And the idea from my pov is to have more variation. I'm not saying let it in tournaments (like they go anywhere anyhow...) and shit today, but if someone says "Hey, I wanna try smite with EOP, you cool?" my answer is usually going to be yes. I look at it more along the lines of allowing necs to use inferno's against fire sorcs.

All that being said, I totally understand and cant fault the reasoning behind your 'no'.

In regards to smiters doing great or good what smiter are you talking about? currently there are no active smiters from what I know. As of now the activity of smiter you can tell that is has been diminished there aren't that many smiters and there's a reason for that like somebody said smiter suck but that doesn't mean they have to suck there are items that can be utilized to make smiter little more viable that's what this thread is about it's not about busted hybrids or anything like that it's about trying to promote something for a smiter to make it viable again to where people want to use a smiter and be more active utilizing the class.

There is no tier list for smiter and smiters support in tvt is pathetic. You state skills and experience yet not a single one of you could probably play smiter.

In regards to smiter and previous experience, it only goes to reflect that smiter need buff. You could have the best gear and all the xp/skill you want. You will still lose about 90% of most your matches.
