clay golem takes a match thats only slightly in favor of the barb to being near free win for the nec. even if the barb teles, its going to be substantially harder for the barb with clay golem allowed

with tele, no... the slow wont really have much affect on barb if their decent w/ tele stick... frw barb, sure... i didnt read his initial post clearly.... still dont think you should ban clay golem.

i dont think slow affects wep swap frames at all, but it does affect ias. so they're going to go from whatever frame they want to a lower one, unless they have stacked ias off weapon, which may counter slow. so maybe IK barbs are good, idk tbh

ya, they'll have slower attack / r/w but they still have the highest dps out of any lld... 1-2 stomps/tri ww and nec is dead unless it has godmode block... also i dont think the slow from golem even last that long so they can just go offscreen if its actually a big deal, avoid ww'ing/getting hit by golem simple.

part of them having the highest DPS is dependant on them hitting with the last few frames of WW before the opponent gets out of range. you already have the wep swap frames to deal with where they can get out of range, but even a crafty player can still eat the last few frames consistently. and a tricky tele that gets the first whirl fhr's them and the tri whirl finishes them.

if however your first hit goes to golem, then you lose the last few frames before they can walk away, that changes your overall DPS output. 10%? 20%? 30%? idk. i dont even know if off weapon IAS counters slow's effect on WW ias, let alone how many hits you stand to lose as a result of clay golem. my point was that r/w isn't the only concern with slow.

i haven't dueled in the matchup much, but can say that any tactic where the solution is "run off screen for a while" is something i dont like much. i didnt like ctc amp because it causes this, bravo Euro, and i don't like how psn effects certain matchups vs plaguer. just a minor gripe, i get that certain matchups call for it from time to time.

you could be slowed and still have a higher dps on barb than necro.
