im still new to kronos but in kronos they made it so u can turn off ur XP which is vn1 warmane do that?

the d2 appeal of lld vs hld at least for me was how much slower and tactical it could be when ppl aren't just obliterating each other in 1s, you actually have to outplay ppl consistently not just capitalize on 1 mistake and stomp. it takes more skill.
twink pvp in wow in my experience is that they just obliterate each other instantly, so it's more brainless than level capped pvp.

that said the barrier to entry is much lower which is nice, i took great pains getting 3 bis pvp chars including a shadowmourne. A twink is more of a weekend project, I just don't know what the community is like, 19 twinks infest the leveling zones because it's a hugely populated server and so many noobs to kill and the 60/70 twinks get slapped around by 80's 24/7 in outland/northrend.

But really the only reason I'd consider twinking over level capped pvp is if I didn't want to put in as much effort to get geared.

twinks in vanilla are different because no hierlooms, so much less OP 1 shots. Also Kronos has level turn off (not blizzlike to vanilla, was added in wotlk iirc) and BG queue from anywhere, so there's less twinks sitting in Ashenvale and by extension less in world. they all just sit in capital tbh

warmane just added heirlooms in the past couple months on their wotlk servers

heirlooms were blizzlike for WOTLK. and i believe that this was done on launch but i could be wrong. either the pvp versions in wintergrasp from vendor via shards, or badge vendor in Dalaran.

I honestly don't like what heirlooms did to twinking, especially once they got heirlooms for like every slot.

yep, i had a 19 paladin in TBC that I made simply to fuck with all the twink rogues. Shield spike & ret aura is what usually got my kills on em lol

that's awesome lol. Any build that fucks with hunters/rogues is right up my alley!

yeah one or two heirlooms were nice but it went way overboard

part of the fun was getting those hard to get uncommon/rares by questing running instances etc
