I've been thinking more about prayer on a pala. If the rep is as high as that (50+) I would be inclined to say let palas stick with tearhaunch/scepter with vigor/charge with no vigor.

Tearhaunch are cheap and palas don't lose a hell of a lot from using them with the exception of some low str build that uses a rune staff insight and spirit sword. Hammerdin's natural style of play is to charge around a lot laying hammer fields. Why give people the opportunity to start bitching about overly defensive play (see the many pages in the current east tour for example).

thats east Frank (they are all efamers, yes hi, you know you are OK). All realms had medi on paladins @ 30 for years. The only issue is when someone refuses to die (i.e. charges away). It was implemented by Andreas in one of the early 30 tours I believe after Joost won a tournament with a charger? but my understanding is that for tvt's paladins have continued to use medi skilled.
im not pushing for medi skilled btw, if people don't want it thats fine. Anyone else for shelving medi skilled or want to discuss it either way ? anything with a question over it will remain unchanged. which leaves us with:

1. Allow 10 repl on Sorc's
2. Allow teleport staffs on Barbs and Necro's
3. Allow CTC Amp or KB on ama's (except vs barb & druid)

Its not the medi I'm thinking of, rather 1pt prayer needed to hardskill vigor. Medi is easily got from a scepter or insight. Who else actively uses palas on EU? Nec (gieb more frw ) and libby are my two main 30s. Lee/Mongo/Timmy?

Incidentally it was a west person they were all complaining about hehe.

Nec, windy, shaper, plague, cs, v/t, sins, non-tele barb and any sorc build are auto loss vs any trapper who isn't literally retarded. It bothers me that nobody plays sins on your realm. Bowas and charging dins are the only thing that can duel it without wsg. Even trappers can't duel trappers without it.

If you want an example, I can get the top players on east to try dueling my trapper without wsg, with none of eu's bizarre frw caps

300 frw chars will still lose without wsg.

Given the rule set it makes a lot of sense actually. People will naturally stray away from a build that causes them to get bitched at every game, every ladder, every tourney. Especially on a realm like EU where they are all fluffy kittens compared to the Egos of East. Same reason i play a hammerdin like shit, i dont want the eventual bitching that any ft5 vs. a priding hammer produces. Same reason i dont play a trapper on east, i dont like reading rage essays after ft5s lol

And I'm one of the best sorcs on east and still trappers give me 50/50 duels without them even trying...

It's retarded. Watched many good duelers lose 3v1 cause the trapper would never die on the other team

I've been hearing eu players say that trapper is ez without wsg for 10 years. Might have to make one next time they have a fg tourney to remind them why keyboards have been made with a W key since 2000

I don't find it ez, then again I generally just play necro. When they have a shadow and weapon block to stop my spirits and are allowed more frw than me it does get quite difficult hehe. Possible, but difficult. Although I would also argue a nec is at a disadvantage in most duels. Still where is the fun without the challenge eh?
