itll be harder to hit the sin by coming in and out imo then getting hit by the sin.
if you tele in and out YOU have to land a hit, the sin has 5 traps coming at you that are already set
if you miss a fw while teling in/out the sin can try to hold a nl
just seems like a tougher duel than your making it out, just imo.

the only true competitive duels for this char is fber...the duels are pretty even, but playing fwer takes much more focus, because a single missed lock/screwup and the fber can kill your es and fhr you, whereas the fber can just chase all day w/ insight out, and missing a lock means they might take a bit extra damage, but they can still just keep chasing

Id like to test this theory, I dont see it.
any chance clanbk or harry would let you use there fw sorc?
edit: my only real duels with firewalls are in the tvt's but even from those I havent felt like my trapper would ever be in trouble in a 1 on 1
id love to test it out whenever/if you have a chance :), just seems like an easyish duel for the trapper if he avoids a few non-nl'ed fw's

edit2: if you want you can respec my guest sorc(1k life/mana) to a fw for a few duels if you buy the token

i think another difficult char for fw is a plaquezone, since they mostly need only 2-3 hits with psn javs to kill you, psn is ignoring es and when u got hit by psn while having 1 hp , u r dead :S
also a plaque doesnt need to to stay on the same spot while attacking u, they will run around and spreading their psn , and in contrast to a fb sorc a fw cant play offscreen to avoid the psn ..
with a decent lrp the plaque wont get alot dmg at all (:

Does fw trigger fhr because it is damage per second, not damage per hit...

doesnt trigger fhr, which is good/bad

bad = cant stun people through fhr

good = fhr is usually an indicator that your char is taking a lot of damage and you should do something, so when people never go into fhr they usually underestimate/neglect the damage

It's not too hard vs fireball sorc when you have decent FRW, like 100+.
