in tournaments we just warn players not to def whore. if needed a ref (hi) can warn, or simply declare the opponent the victor. once ppl accept what is gm and whats not it should be fine. most sorc's can def whore. it is not exclusive to firewall. thats why there is a repl life cap.

Lower the rep life cap = more op a sorc is. Energy shield + teleport = s tier

sorc with lowest repl cap, melee with highest.

we already achieved it on europe years ago, we just have to legislate for:

east/west with their different rules (so look for a happy compromise)
and the changes from d2 to d2r (read: Firewall, Fana and Assassins)

Light sorc is bad at 30 even with trophy gear and won’t be around anytime soon, you can’t base rules on a match up like that
