you ONLY use orb with shield, its not a fucking staff.  9 dex in the orb is 9 dex saved, period.  iirc, the rep cap is 10.  so if youre using a 6 rep ammy/belt/circ, then thats why you use the rare jewel over the 20/20.  its to make your rep cap exactly.

also, only fucking idiots would use a +6 TS memory, because only fucking idiots would hardskill TS on a sorc when you could just get it from your orb.

Thunderstorm must be available on both slots for a start, but thunderstorm casts at its prebuffed level with the memory for example but it works off current mastery.

So if you've got +6ts memory it casts the +6 but when you swap back and uve only got +1 sorc skills or something it uses the +1 sorc mastery and not the +3 from memory
