Thats the whole issue, its a 500 defence 5 bo visionary helmet. i.e. its good for bvb but thats about it. on a plus side I think recent prudence users have proven that defence > DR in these matches and as such you can live with 1 sox on the basis that the defence boost is worth the loss of a socket for this specific dueling purpose. Unless he is using a stygian pulim or a heavily -req's sword the jewel choice is still odd to my eyes. what im saying is : Hailstone circlet is weaker then pain mask for the purposes of BVB, but seriously put some ar into pain mask. happy to be corrected on this :)
your rambling makes no sense at all. im pointing out that you cant get the mods you want on the helm, because the affix system only allows for 3 prefixes and 3 suffixes on a rare item. im ignoring the socket choices because they're bad, but a hel rune is easy enough to fix that. btw the jewels in left helm are 30ed/50ar/37def/7dex. i'm assuming the -req on the jewel in the right helm isnt being used, its just being used as a 30/9/9 jewel.
