Was shot to look(feel) like they(and you) were on acid, which they were very fucked up at that point in the movie. Very cool movie and camera styling.

back in my day we did that by just overexposing the film and prancing naked in a graveyard

im referring to the film technique they used in the acid trip scene -.-
they dubbed in sounds, used a bunch of (stock?) weird clips, and overexposed the film, to create the effect. and talked about their dead mothers a bunch

much better than just swirling a camera around on a dolly nonstop
