idk anything about this particular scam so I probably shouldn't comment on that, but still.. what if you guys are ganging up on the wrong guy?
how many people were in game to actually see the scam happen? I read through this thread and really it looks kinda flimsy. yes its fucked up that someone got stolen and Im sorry for you. yes I know friends of that said person are mad and looking to flame whoever stole him. but what if you have the wrong guy? what if he left the game as he said, and someone else was the the actual thief and the person getting scammed got confused in the mess, I mean its pretty easy to get confused if you are getting emotional after losing such pricey items.
are these people here flaming Brad actually involved with the trade and saw the scam go down? or are they just looking to bash on Brad cause he is the new guy in lld and it looks shady? I mean yes.. it does look kinda shady that he was in the game, then the scam happened, then he gets traded one of the scammed items. that is shady as fuck. but does occam's razor always hold true?

idk, maybe it's just that being friends with Brad many years ago (I havent played d2 in a long while, marvel directed me towards this thread in case anyone is wondering why Im posting on this) and having dueled with/against him for years I've always seen him as a gm dueler. maybe that is clouding my judgment. idk I can't say for certain. I have never traded with Brad in the time I knew him.

But seriously if he is dueling gm in lld and getting #1 consistently, whats the problem with him dueling in lld? I mean yes, if someone is hurting the lld community by scamming members in it, then it is reason to ban the player from having anything to do with the community. but make sure it's that, and not just some hate on Brad for his gm dueling and being new in lld.
again, I've always known Brad as the GM dueler. I've never participated in any trades with him. I've never heard of him doing mass pvp player heists like jeet or other notorious members in the hld scene. I'd hate to be wrong, but then again I wasn't involved with this at all and only read this thread cause Marvel was talking to me about it, I could be wrong. I can't 100% vouch for Brad on this, but I can vouch he is always GM in duels and ladders themselves. He was always a pleasure to duel with and against, that is how I remember him from years ago.
not stating this one way or another, just saying take a step back and see if you are really bashing the right guy. and if its true well then, I can't defend Brad cause someone in a pvp community shouldn't treat other members like that.

TLDR, but to respond to what my eyes glossed over quickly, the problem with him dueling in the LLD community is...quite simply.... that he's a lowlife scumbag scammer. Would you invite a child rapist to your household poker game? Hyperbole yes, but the point stands.

and as I said, idk anything about him being a scammer.
but I've had many many duels with him 3-5 years ago and he has always dueled GM, so that is how I know him. that is all.
