Wish I could have done more than 2 fights out of 5 possible lol.

Not to complain, but I am not sure bout the preliminary format. I mean, maybe I just been unlucky, but got a Bye, got matched against a guy who straight up told me to register a win the minute he replied to my message and had to try to stay up until 1am on week days to not get a lost or a draw in order to maybe move to top 8 lol

I get that it might be a way to force people to duel, but as of yet, it remains to be proven as the only guys that did their matchups are the guys that usually do theirs. And I feel I was penalized in a way.

But for real, I aint mad at all about it. Just wanted to share my opinion on that format!!

Appreciate the feedback, this was the first time testing this new format so definitely expected mixed opinions. With our entrant pool continuing to grow, this will be the format moving forward.

I will see if the 72-hour period needs to be tweaked, or if we simply need more rounds.

Either way, appreciate you… sucks that you fell asleep through your alarm and couldn’t complete your last duel. If you had won, it would have snuck you into the top 8.

That’s honestly just my opinion, but like I said, if I had been a lil more lucky I could have done another duel and 3/5 duels completes and a BYE isnt the same scenario at all.

Its just that I am used we do like 8-10x ft5 and that 3 matchups for a tourney I decided to test a char isnt the wished scenario lol.

I am just throwing this like that, but maybe you could incorporate a way that we maybe do less rounds, but have 2 matchups per round and allow maybe like 4 or 5 days to complete both. That would be a mix of both (old and new formats). People would have the chance to do up to 8 duels and it would force people to do like 2-3 duels per week. (5rounds x 3 days vs 4 rounds x 5 days)
