The guy chose to just stupidly assume i was intentionally screwing him out of 30$, 24 hours after i gave him a deal on a d2r barb that saved him over 200$ lol.
if i was that desperate for money i could have just held out and sold that d2r lld barb for what it was actually worth but i just wanted my friend to have d2r access and i sold my 18s on legacy because i wasnt playing as often as i had an issue at the time with my VPN keeping me from playing legacy so to prevent myself from losing out on the entire 2 grand cash i spent with cota building my LLD collection, i decided to sell my level 18 stuff. i told him i was worried before we even made the trade involving that level 18 account that id rather just buy the account and not share it but he wanted access to shit on there and so did other ppl so i played it nice. little did i know playing it nice would lead to the total eradication of the best 4v4 crew LLD has ever seen nd shit aint been the same since then.
ppl can lie, they can try to pretend, but ive been paying attention for years now and shit has simply never returned to the way it was before. thats because the entire community is divided over a 30$ circlet that a self proclaimed millionaire best friend of mine chose to assume the worst of me over, after i had literally just done him a favor worth way more than the item i forgot was on the account before i sold it. its really that simple, something that small, snowballed everything and now legacy is just flat out dead. when was the last time legacy had regular 4v4s going for over 8 hours a day? ill tell you when, literally right before this all went down lol. PPL can continue to point the finger at me but at the end of the day, anyone who actually thought 30$ was worth destroying the entire community over, has probably regretted it 200x since then and just has too much pride to ever admit it.
take care all, i miss trevor, andy, matt, lee, etc. but i dont miss cota, bt, jay, and everyone else who played a part in that divide, and make no mistake it was literally a divide over a random ass lvl 18 pally circlet, that led to the discord being demolished and never being the same again, aswell as legacies demise.
