Game hasn’t even been out 3 months and Ferdia already writing a rules bible

For zon using a 2H staff the fcr bp is 13 at 68, but @72 fcr the action bp goes from 10->9, like 86 fcr on the baba

what is an "action bp"? there's no 72fcr breakpoint for zon

Don’t worry, I will ignore/break every rule when I pick the game up in 2 years.

Action frame is the singular frame where the actual teleport takes place. The frames before it are wind up and the frames after it are wind down. I.e. raising the arm etc




Awesome I never knew, do you know what could bump it up for 48fcr bp? Although I’ll prob be stuck on 50 fcr regardless :(. If I want to keep gold wrap for 50 ias

so if i understand correctly, 68fcr would be for the wind up (delay between casting to you landing on your opponent's head), and 72fcr would be breakpoint of wind down (delay between you landing on your opponent to being able to do something else)?

I don’t actually know the numbers offhand and not sure which site or calc Ted is using but I have to get it off him for sure

But for example if 68 fcr is a 13 frame animation sequence, maybe the actual teleport will happen at frame 10 of the sequence. Teds trick here is that bumping fcr a little bit can move the action frame up in the sequence. Which I didn’t know about as my knowledge of action frames is introductory

Tele swapping is pretty smooth on 63fcr barb.
I'm pretty sure it will still feel clunky with a zon's bps though.

Yeah iirc that’s 9 frame casting speed vs 14 frame on 48 fcr zon haha. Might end up swapping to vmagi/sig shield instead of peace/whitstan but you lose some serious life there, like almost 150 all-told lol. Not to mention you lose a massive fbr bp and HFD :(. Prob not worth it, if 48 fcr sucks I may just have to accept defeat and go with 7 bolts/68 fcr instead

If I may just jump in to something i realized earlier this week:
its possible to grab an aksod and slap 3 shaels in it to reach the 86fbr breakpoint. that goes from 3fpa to 2fpa (33% faster animation). itd be especially useful against bowzons/ww barb. i tried doing it on sin, but it would cost me more dex points to reach max block (like probably 50-100 hp worth), so I decided to stick to whist. but im still glad i know of this trick.
