I rolled these two ammys recently. And although there is room for improvement on both of them, they have some pretty solid mods (and only 2 of us are rolling these right now, so cut me some slack yo).

Keep in mind that 10 frw is essentially 60 life because thats what it would cost you in charms to get (assuming 3% scs).

My fav is the high res stack one. 118 total res, and most importantly, huge cold res, decent light res. (FYI cold sorcs can pierce -250 res)

Hmm interesting. Still, bowas on eu can only have 85frw so thats 30 from charms after war travs and circlet. Then you have a 3pm 100life magic amulet to compete with, not to mention wanting to swap on noko vs fire sorcs (i think 85fr is the gm cap). Not sure if a frw amulet has a place, unless a near perfect roll perhaps.

Also, i think a standard choice vs cold sorcs is a 120cr 60ias armor and a few 20/11 scs. I expect mana might be an issue in that matchup too with that amulet given how long they can last.

You could be right, but consider the following:

10x 20 life/5 res all scs equals 50 res all at the cost of 30 max damage (loss from damage sc swap). 10 scs take up 10 invent slots.
Losing 120 ed on armour is a loss of approx. 70-90 damage since mld bow bases are so damn high. Having a 120 cold/ias and a 120 light/ias armour in you inventory takes up 12 slots, and some zons even keep a 60 res all/60 ias for a total of 18 slots used....


So what im getting at is, Id rather keep the ed on my armour and simply swap in an ugly ammy/belt/some scs and maintain a really high damage output.
