After reading that the ed/max issue is not affecting range damage, i was looking for additional infos and found these old speadsheets - maybe the could be intresting for some of you:

Sorry for the dumb question but are %ed jewels that have both min and max damage fine then?

My understanding is that only the min and max will work, wasting all the ED (assuming off-weapon). On weapon, it’ll be fine.

it applies to all form of phys dmg, melee or range.

ah cool, so ed/max or ed/min should work for ranged - he tested with a bow, wonder how it interacts when throwing spears

It doesn’t apply to ranged physical damage such as ga or throw. But the dmg it adds doesn’t show on char stat sheet.
