i don't even have ideal rules tbh, i rly loved asylums b tier tourney it was probably my favorite tourney ever even tho i could only duel half the ppl because i got dodged a bunch.

i just know that there are multiple ppl who would have loved to have been in a 2v2 tourney that allowed all 7 classes, for variety and a higher chance for non boring matchups. this is the idea i gave to ted last night and he thought it was a good one, but its ultimately up to him imo since he is funding the event. all i can say is if its fpk and excludes 80% of the characters i own, i won't be taking part again.

also here's another idea, how about an event that is like S tier, but not both ppl on the 2v2 team can use s tier chars. like no barb/hdin, no zon/hdin, no sorc/hdin, no sorc/barb, no zon/sorc, no zon/barb teams. i think if we did it like that it would promote more fun play while still technically allowing every character.

2v2 anything goes but no hard skilled prayer dins
2v2 btier no traps/psn/bowa/and possibly chargers somehow

or do the fpk thing again but allow people the option to not use telestick if they prefer (can still be bped). also let druid/barb and druid/nec teams have bo/amp because druids are easily countered by 2 out of 4 classes

I think you guys should continue the fpk thing even though I can’t participate it seemed like a great turn out imo

Final paragraph seems like a kind of cool idea would need to group b tier chars in one list and a tiers in other list and randomly join them. That leaves a lot up to randomness of team formation though because certainly some b tier chars synergize so well with a tier chars that they become a tier themselves haha like cs with trapper or something. Wish someone with extensive knowledge of Lld builds and players would just form the teams that they deemed fair haha




That’s true it was pretty successful and people who participated seemed to love it. I think adding in hybs would be bad though

The only hybrid I could ever see possible is eop on druid and that’s it. Otherwise seems like it’s going to be a weird ass tourney if eop on all chars

Especially without Max block it might be okay cause barb will steam roll anyways for the most barb I’d think that’s in theory I guess

i really like the third idea, similar to what trev said, currently torn between something like this or a bowa + X 2v2 tournament with either nothing banned, banned s tier, or straight up bowa + b tier 2v2. personally would love to use a VT or insight druid with one



def love the allow any class that is non tele stick allowed, bp is iffy to allow but i imagine you said it because it saves the discussion for the conclusion to be that it complicates things and that a sin can shock web @ feet, nec can pre spear if not getting fookd, druid has cain, barb has ww. really leaning towards a: repeat of the last fpk with the changes of non tele stick allowed, and no bone armor recast vs druid. druid will likely still be at a disadvantage and underused but there is some beauty to it, fpk is a lock those were some of the best duels ever and i know people are hungry to give it another go

b tier and S tier 2v2 neck and neck

anybody opposed to a third tournament such as a+b tier 2v2 on the side if say S tier wins the vote?

You loved the fpk, all the participants loved it. I was thinking about joining on Sota but ultimately didn’t only because I couldn’t use insight on swap haha. Making the same tourney but allowing people to use their characters as they are built seems nice. Banning 3/7 classes is about as far as I’d go haha that’s already so extreme.

fo sho, i would say no bp v no tele as we normally do but in the spirit of fpk and teleporting bp should be allowed regardless. just ppl should have the option to use something else if they choose even if it's most likely a disadvantage for most of the time. also, any of the 4 classes will escape a bp if they have mana and most likely destroy bp as soon as it's casted anyway. definitely no recast ba vs druid but then there's an issue with druid/barb teams. anyway, those fpk duels looked fun af and non toxic af, i wish i would've joined!

a+b would be fun too. we really need a definitive tier list for all of the lld builds if we want to move forward on this lol
