What about having a new partner every duel and go off a point system. Two people at the end of the tourney with most points win regardless if you paired with him at all or not? Idk maybe I’m just drunk at noon

the first suggestion you made would have immediate drama and whoever randomized the teams would be accused of favoring people and not really having it be random, even if the teams dont seem to favor them themselves they will still get accused of choosing a favorite and giving them a decided advantage. i know this community pretty well and can say with 100% certainty that idea would not work out even if we were all in the same room in real life and we knew there was no way for it to be rigged, people would still complain.

the second suggestion you made would barely be considered a team tourney because of the fact that the point system is individual and you are changing teams so you are still being scored for your individual success and not team success, tho that does sound like a fun lil event its still not a team event imo.

the only way it would work would be if the priders decided to become not priders and didnt try to perpetuate the myth that its "hard to get 4 ppl on at same time"

im down to do a tourney though i bet we can get danzeva to make the brackets and we can kindly ask ted or asylum to make the rules. we should do btier again
