I tried this set up for a hybrid. Granted i was using leap attack and not something like Stun with a fast flail.
Would be curious to explore this on open vs meta builds

i'll do some thinking today, perhaps i can think of a few items to get some dmg in a solo battle to give him a bit of a boost

Positive for sure. That’s a lot of effort put in

Theoretically, I think if he had str glitched stealth and treads of cthon and a +1 combat/20 frw circlet and a few frw charm, he could be more useful chasing down zons with the stun attack skill.
But this would soften up his usefulness vs chargers/zealots. Considering that we already have a ph/kick hybrid sin for chasing zons, it might be more worthwhile to stick with what leap is better at doing (crowd controlling non runners).
That being said, it might be worth exploring.

Im thinking more in the last man up scenario, to give them the ability to maybe pull out a win vs a 1/4 health opponent, rather than just towning because leap wont do it. maybe a throw swap with dmg charms and jewels mixed in enough to get ok dmg

For sure. Iamasylum Andy and I have been trying to figure out how to incorporate some damage into the mix without heavily deviating from what he was initially designed to do.
We've considered glitched javs on him on swap instead of 2x rep sticks, which would mean that we would have to pump weap masteries instead of shout. I could swap out the 15/8 def scs for 15/ar scs to further facilitate this.
