Well, I dont like 1v1 dueling anyways, but the solution to the fissure vs fissure matchup is to duel in hell in the middle of a quill rat patch. But in lvl 18 tvt they can simply be ganged up on.

In terms of vlld, i think that the vlld community should consider tweaking the lvl caps of certain caster builds so that they are competitive. That would shake up the meta a bit

Given how my experiment went with trying to allow some lvl 24s vs 18s (terribly) i shudder to think about that. def for the best, its just ironing out the wrinkles gets sticky fast.

in 1.09 vlld caps were level 9 for melee and lvl 17 for casters.. there was no synergies though so even at 17 they all pretty much just died except throw necros

I think a swag yolo ballin teeth necro at lvl 15 would still get slammed 1v1 but would probably be an asset in a hypotheitcal 4v4.

when i got into LLD the 29s were just starting to die. mainly a holdover from hdins being considered too powerful for +2 pcomb gear, and prob a good idea.
