The only thing i would suggest would be a safety shield to help vs invis hammer spam.

About that extra shael in shield. Does anybody care to state other scenarios where it might come in handy?

My sources are telling me a 17/30/20/5rep/res/2soc is most optimal shield choice w/ 20ed/9dex jewels w/ res or str

vs anything that has a faster attack duration than your block rate. so ww, charger's zeal, bowa's jab, fury, etc.

the only scenario where you won't have it be an issue is vs pure charge where u can block and recover before the next need to block. i suppose that also applies to zvz depending on the situation.

Shael is totally wasted soc.
Against who would it be useful?

Edit: Going from super slow block rate to slow block rate wont help you abit. All attacks will (probably) be faster and on top of that you got the 8frame d/a/e animation which is always there.

I do 3x shields tbh

1x 30/20 +5 Rep 2x Ed/Str/Dex Jewels , mainly for chargers and other stuff sometimes barbs
1x 30/20 +5 Rep 2x Eth Shield - Brown color like marles, Had to to buy it so I could be like him
1x 30/20 +5 Rep 2x 20Ed / 9 Dex Jewels - I use this all the time.


The only real time ill use my dual eth shield is for when im in game with andy. Twins basil Twins.
And as for my damage shield with str/dex just a minor boost I tend to use with my 214 javas.

Great point! It would be dumb to do anything 2+ frames faster in d2 at the cost of 1x eth rune.

Vs barb, fury, zeal, other zons. Not needed all the time however. I’ve seen zons just take 3x aksod before.. 3 eth, shael/2x eth, and pure dmg 60ed/27 dex. Shael/2x 9/20 would be nice vs like barb and charger
