i never made a mauler so i cant comment on most optimal armor, also i dont know what you mean re: hybrd zon, java with multiple points in CS + plague + bow i guess? again i have not made one of those for 30 so i cant comment.

But there are plenty of builds that can use it, asylums maul Druid for instance would have been better w/ it than the erep armor he used.

My hybrid zon uses one cause it needs fhr but still needs to retain res/life/dmg

The dmg loss from losing 1soc is worth the life gained depending on how you built the char...

i can for sure see it being worth it.

the BF sin uses a 24fhr/life/res/2 os serpentskin armor.

It’s an odd armor that no one really thinks about, but it’s actually really good for odd builds lol. I think they can spawn w/ mdr or 6str/9dex aswell.
