to be fair 12-18's were super hard to drop. i heard from a friend a few years back that it took a CF'er a week to get a single one. sorcanno or w/e his name was.

for sure, jewels are no joke. a 12-18 needs 4/4 mods all 100% perf.

half the items they sell are 4/6 mods with a range of acceptable, like 150%+ ed on nagas. the melee guys all rave about what their "extra mod" is on their zerker axe, since all are ed/fools/ias/rep/2os and no one pays the extra 500$ or w/e to get the 6th mod.

yeah. chargers reach a point where having a higher max damage doesn't do anything because your high damage rolls already 1shot people
besides, rare min-max jewels add higher avg than a 24 so even if you weren't 1shotting people then the rares would still be better

there's at least one charger on nl using duped 12-18s in all of his gear. don't remember the name though

And what do you mean by "the one class"
any min-max with > 24 damage is better than a 24 no matter what class you're on. They're better on bowa/barb/din/fury and anything else you can think of.

Didn't mention them cuz I (other than Barb) haven't used them on those other classes like I have charger, that's all. Guess I was in the mind set that higher max is higher max and aim for that.
