You wont live long enough to do any damage if you don't have the huge defence.
And you need the damage to mana if you're not using mana pots...

honestly, who would make a vlld sorc...its a very well put together build but seriously lldpk is providing way to many builds (very nice ones imo, just too much)

vlld sorcs are top notch if they got decent gear. You cant just say "why would anyone make a vlld sorc?" without saying why you dont think so.

Reason to make them imo is because they are quite cheap compared to meele builds ( to some extent ) + they are more rare compared to meele duelers.

They can be cheap, but then again so can melee duelers...
Sorcs are fine if you're using just basic equip... but as soon as you start searching for 2 Dex/2 Str/5 Life rep rings and 3 Str/3 Dex jewels it becomes expensive.

Its a big difference, since a sorc just needs the orb to be good ( again, to some extent ) compared to a meele char who needs jewels and charms to be considered good.

Casters on all levels tend to be less expensive to make compared to meele, thus making them a great first character for new players.

Yeah, those 15/12mana charms are so cheap. It takes more than a orb to be a good sorc. You can have a gfg orb, but lacking in other areas like fhr, mana, life that you get from spirit and still suck. Don't get me wrong, I prefer orbs. Thats why I have these 2 orbs one in use, and one hopefully to be in use. Ask anyone, my blizz sorc isn't a punk.

One of the orbs was really cheap, and the other just cheap compared to what someone is willing to pay for it. Yet, at times I want the 55fhr from spirit and the 2all skills instead of tree specific. What makes that build so good, is the lack of resistances on vllders. You stack your cold res till its 75%, you think shiver is going to do that much damage?

Nothing jawdropping with those orbs. Having shivor armor and es on that orb is useless since you would want a +5 es orb on switch, the shivor is just not helping that much to be worth calling an asset. Why post orbs in here? Its a thread about a lvl12 sorc, not lvl30s.

I was talking about getting a starter char, not a fully decked out char. Also, 15/12s are way cheaper than 3/20/15s.
