telestaff is not a necessity on this char, and only just recently put it on him. You use insight + spirit/shield a lot.

Had one of these on nl several years ago...its a plain hillarious build and very annoying to duel against.
i preferred the frw set-up and insight/edge bow for tvt

imo shockwave does fine and i would rather use bear. The only time i would use wolves would be as meat shields vs ranged until i could get close enough to cast a bear and start shockwaving.

I made a 49 summoner a long time ago and revamped it with spirit sword etc on open.

anyone remember the 09 shockwave bears. They were horrible to duel against cuase it actually stunned/kb'd and hurt, alot.

i only put 1 point into shockwave on my 1.09 summoner but i used spec shard and that +1 wand for 30ish i forget what its called
