Tbh, Mauler is absolutely too OP.

I ran some fights with Ben (small sample but still), it is by far too strong for melee IMO and that was without any spirit of any kind.

He asked me to let him join on it, but it’s like Id allow a build that is almost 100% guaranteed of winning the tourney.

What would be the purpose of that. Ben even admitted it was too strong himself.

I want everyone to have a fair chance at winning and allowing Mauler goes against that.

hosting, for communications sake and just in case I have to pm some rules specifications or whatesoever, you cannot have me blocked lol

iirc his mauler had > 2k life. Dmg felt pretty strong as well.

we had lvl12 mauler (uses only <lvl9 items) banned from 1v1 melee lvl9 a long time ago as well.

I've dueled a total of like 20 times between you and rick who both claim not fully geared and but yes. it seems op. still wild to ban it before it even wins a single tourny tho.

I can unblock you for the duration of the tourny if you want.

So if i understand correctly, you want me to let you in, so you can win then I should ban it?

I told you I was not sure allowing it when we dueled and you asked me to let you in so you could win one and I could ban the build after. You even asked myself to not divulgate anything on the Mauler.

Tbh, i dont feel like this is fair for other entrants. I allowed chum on his light dmg kicker while I should not have (I like chum a lot and that biased my choice). I kinda regretted it afterward so Im not gonna do the same thing twice.

see if it wins sure. I'm just saying it has never been tested and no one has even made one before i did to use.... whatever all good, I don't actually care to be in your tourny mat. I am saying however that you not being sure you'd let it in was based on absolutely nothing at all.

Ill just ask couple guys opinion and Ill base my choice in regards of what they have to say about it.

I dont feel it should be allowed, but ill ask what the other lvl18 melee guys have to say about it.

The fact that I do not appreciate you much does not make it fair for you. If you really wish to join, maybe they’ll ask to duel your build again.
