Base 20, + 12 from Circ + 9 from amulet, +18 from rings and +2 invent, i.e. 61 str.
in general, your dont need insane damage, but it helps vs difficult opponents / classes
the raw damage from +b&c in itself is insane, and the -mana per ga, at 30, was not overlooked above, i was merely highlighting the damage side of things. (we all run out of mana)
Maybe if you defwhored less and took a leaf out of RazorBows book and just nl jab you wouldnt run out of mana.
