its hard to hit with a barb, example barb v bowie, if he hit them they will normally have 1/4 hp left that ow might take them to 1/8 left. why would a barb care about that as he will still have to hit them again to kill, and if he did he will take the over 1/4 hp out anyway

I would agree that in long duels where you hit your opponent alot, Um is probably the better option, but where your opponent is dead in 3-4 hits, i'd use jewel. @49, most people are 3-4 hit.

AS version is a bit out of date

Um is a bvb socket, and a VS es sorc socket occasionally, though i would prefer to have a specific weapon with more than just 25% vs pure ES sorcs.

Anyone who actually bvb's with any intelligence would not use that sword for bvb without the Um socket.

i still find UM a very valid socket in low ED weapons - i wouldn't claim this weapon got any extra ordinary high ED

might be less damage but i rather prefer watching them bleed
