I have asked the strayboys to see if he can assist by posting up everyone's a/c name and a link to their profile. ideally over the next 24 hours. i'll use this opportunity to go to bed early i'll pm everyone the above post, ideally with a link to everyone's profile. also, if anyone has not registered to the 49 event yet (in my and harabec's profile) please consider doing so as it will allow your opponents to easily see when you are on line.

i might use tournament events in future as a way of subscribing to each tournament, but in the meantime the 49 event is there to be used.

up for duels !

Hi All,

The 17th MLD Tournament has now officially started and I am pming the contents of this post to each entrant. I am setting a provisional target of 3 weeks (until Friday 10th Feb) for everyone to complete their group duels. I am conscious however that there are alot of duels to be completed so depending on the % duels completed at that time I may extend this deadline. I would however ask every user to complete at least 5 duels per week at minimum. Users will be prompted via PM by me to complete their duels and may be TKO'd at the end of the group stage if they have not completed all their duels. Pm your opponents, get your minimum number of duels completed per week and then aim to complete all your duels (in that order) asap. I have yet to decide whether i will bring this to a last 8 or a last 16 KO phase, so if everyone could please make an effort to complete all their duels it would be much appreciated.

Also, in each of our signatures is a link to the 49 event. if anyone has not registered to the 49 event yet please consider doing so as it will allow your opponents to easily see when you are online. i might use events in future as a way of subscribing to each tournament, but in the meantime the 49 event is there to be used and is very user friendly. I have agreed to a slight amendment of the rules (see ama vs assa - multishot forbidden) but otherwise there is no change.

If players are dodging you throughout the groupstage I would ask you to post in the topic sothat I have a better idea of what is going on. If players cannot frequently log on I would ask them to post in the topic the best times to catch them. A reminder to all, play GM, not BM, be polite and please try to be especially considerate to those users that are new to my tournaments. This should be a friendly, but competitive, tournament and I would appreciate it if everyone could please try to act mature at all times.

Refrain from spam, ignore those that invariably will spam, try not to comment too much over contentious issues and pm me (or Harabec) if you need assistance in any matter.

The points for each duel will be allocated as follows:

5 -- 0 10 points
5 -- 1 9 points
5 -- 2 8 points
5 -- 3 7 points
5 -- 4 6 points
4 -- 5 4 points
3 -- 5 3 points
2 -- 5 2 points
1 -- 5 1 point
0 -- 5 zero points

TKO -- 5 points to the Auto winner, Zero points to the user that has been TKO'd.
Draw -- In the event of a draw by decision of referee a duel may be deemed a draw, in such an event each player will be award 5 points (we only had 2 draws ever).
Disqualification -- In the event of a disqualification all duels completed or to be completed will be voided and the user will be completely removed from the tournament.
Withdrawal -- In the event of a withdrawal in the 1st week of the tournament, all duels completed or to be completed will be voided and the user will be completely removed from the tournament. In the event that the user withdraws late in the tournament I will make a decision based on % duels completed.

Ideally everyone will have completed all their duels by the end of the group stage, I will prompt all users on a regular basis, however at the end of the group stage I will be TKO'ing those users who have not completed all their duels.

FAO Sliky & FasterA. I would ask both of you to pm me over the weekend sothat I can give each of you some practice duels prior to both of you competing vs each other. I dont want any surprises in this duel for either player and I want the duel completed as smoothly, and as quickly, as possible. This duel will be ref'd. I will talk to both of you seperately. I want this out of the way this weekend, I dont want this hanging over anyone. a reminder to both of you, no spam, keep conversation to a minimum, GM not BM, and lets get over this.
