Heat wave in Banff. Also not legal for air conditioners in residential homes here due to environmental impact. So my house is like 35 degrees C lol… my laptop or ps4 both generate so much heat I’m not even considering turning them on haha just spending all my free time at the glacial lakes to not die of heat stroke basically.
But the heat wave is meant to break a little bit starting Sunday due to a rain storm all day so hopefully will be back Sunday.

It’s just because we are in a national park. Businesses can still run them but not residents for some reason lol.
E/ also I think there are some exceptions for homes in certain areas or that are a certain age I dunno. But I set up a portable a/c in my bedroom and someone noticed and reported it and the park warden actually came by and made me remove it so I know my house can’t have em lol.. maybe cause I’m right downtown or something I don’t know

what about those ones that u just pour water into and run them in a room, those i dont think are bound by the same laws because its literally just electricity and water. not detrimental to the environment or anything, i think they cost like 800$ or some shit though so ud have to be abelt o afford it. some kid invented them when he was 15 or 16 yrs old.

scratch that they are only like 90$, shouldnt be illegal to run for environmental reasons because they are environmentally friendly.
