When you sign up for the ladder, announce build, playstyle. Intentions, etc so everyone knows and can counter around it.
6 sol max. This is allows for gear swapping between pcrown and circ for helm and lifer and vmagi. (5 on vmagi/rockfleece circ barbed, 5 on pcrown, lifer, barbed, 6 on circ, lifer, barbed). Allows for personal playstyle, changes in between matches, etc.
Ladders are design see who the best player. Piloting skills and gear. Vtpk really doesnt have any gear advantage.
tbh it just comes down to setup. smite and foh are only mechanically complicated skills if you're adding teleport to the mix, and then only barely. There's a reason that even on the hld vtpk ladder the best players aren't always in the #1 slot.
unless these guys have been eating paint chips skill should not be a factor at all
anyone who builds around smite/dr automatically loses to anyone who runs extra frw + higher foh damage since under your suggestions it will no longer be possible for them to take physical damage
the foh-centered builds might lose to a mdr+rep build but that's a close call. I'm not entirely sure whether the extra 10 rep/foh damage from going 1 pally over 2 offensive is worth it
