breakbeatz' level 9 jabber has 100 mana and some dtm as well and it still runs out of mana in jab vs jab

that's probably because brakes java is bad, I never had issue with mana on jabber

the vlld builds that need a lot of dtm are jab/basher, then ib/mauler/kicker/smiter, and the most popular (jabber) doesnt use a deflecting shield. the others are hardly common other than bashers.
dtm never hurts to have for any build but it isnt priority for other popular chars like a saccer or ts sin (my tser still has ~20%)

this is a vlld shield that has dtm and other useful affixes (fhr/ctc frost nova)

idk it still does pretty well vs the level 9s of today

has 500 something like and 300 something jab with 1.5k ar, I think that's standard or better even for today. could try a couple dozen click n holds if you want.
