I preferred wsg on east for 1v1 vs assassins (rather than the "we dont wsg on europe but really we do" approach we had) and prefer no wsg when not vs assassins (i like the dynamic of a team mate trying to break the mb name lock).
Tele I was mixed on. I didnt mind more classes using teleport, especially in certain matchups. Sorc vs Barb on europe was just painfully drawn out and tele would speed that up a lot, yet tele on a barb vs a nec was overkill. Hard to get a right balance without writing a rulebook more wordy than Ulysses though. I always gave shit to Ferdia for the size of his rules but all things considered they were surprisingly consice.
I am not sure about HLD, but in LLD TVT you can play a trapper well without any mind blast. With BoS and 2k trap damage along with good kiting, you are doing as much or more than your part as any other team member besides the hdins/fire sorc/ww barbs ... Trapper is not going to be a game changer without MB like it was in og d2, but they can certainly be a great addition to any team without MB... maybe teams just need to treat them more like a zon and protect them. I think MB just simply can't be allowed without wsg... and I think it's obvious! Something like Smite is still okay because of the effort it takes to land a meaningful smite or smite string in a solid 4vs4. But Mind Blast is just too easy to namelock and spam haha, without WSG they can lose to only bowa, chargers, or lucky ww barbs. If Mind Blast never existed in the first place, I think LS trappers would still be a main/good tvt or 1vs1 character in lld.
