i dont like the boots :/
lrep is cute but bit str if possible on pavise + on gloves str/ dex would be better i'd say

i would maybe use frostburn instead of bloodfist for the ed+cd + the high mana pool
bladebuckle as belt for switch
i think the p amethyst would be better choice at least in all exept ornate,
+rattle cage in stash

i had similiar barb in hc last ladder he's still alive was pretty funny ^^

Since he is a BVA I don't want str on any of my gear since I will need to swap it out for the shield setup. The only piece I could Amethyst are both helms, but I figured I only lose 2 life with a Ruby and I might want to use the helms on another char.

Str on any other piece wouldn't allow me to switch, which is why there's none on my rings or amulet either.

I think the biggest upgrade would be getting him a -30 Ornate and Martel and a -req pavise to go let him go to 119 str.
