that is a subjective point. I'm just saying there are plenty of builds that could out perform a v/t in this tourney so wasn't sure why all the new restrictions. I would say ban medi and be done with it, takes away their ability to l8z and forces them to be more mana conscious.. that'll keep em in check! ... i mean in addition to the other original rules

my only gripe when i first posted was zealer, with it being checked i have no actual problems. im just playing devils advocate because ban charge clearly won the poll and if that rule got put we might have more signups by now based on how many ppl voted and the fact that they might be waiting for that rule to hit to sign up. :)

if zealer didnt get checked i would actually prob not join the event. im fine with whatever asy finds fair with vt in the end.

You are telling me that v/t shouldn't have charge vs a 125+frw psn zon/rabies druid? Lol ok man, sounds really fun LOL

nah man just speaking for all the ppl who voted ban charge in the poll cause it might get more signups and more signups means more fun. i see asy's point in defending vt having charge so that u can still play what you want but to be truthful you have a druid also so i dont see the pt in dancing around an obviously popular decision to please 1 person who has other chars they could use and at the same time possibly losing signups by not going with the popular decision.

and if we r being honest i already showed you a vt isnt going to win vs a wsging zon even with charge so no that had nothing to do with my opinion lol.

im not even playing zon lol.

my point had nothing to do with me worrying about anything other than the signup count.

historically speaking when a popular decision for a rule in an event like this isn't made then there r less signups.

The b-tier tourney went so well and even tho i had 7 or 8 ppl bye me i still had loads of fun because we had 22 signups. this one has like 7 at the given moment. 19 ppl voted in the poll and over half of them wanted either no din at all or no charge and that was even with like 4 votes being joke votes about banning matt and sean so really it was probably more than half that would choose that choice. which leads me to believe if charge was banned it would essentially promote no dins to play and thusly make the ppl who voted no charge and no paladin both happy and likely get more signups.

happened in hld alllll the time.

i imagine here in the lld sub there might not be many times that a popular decision hasn't been the decision that was chosen because llders tend to have a lot more common sense and math skills, but i didnt know this sub even existed for like my first 7 yrs on this site lmao so i wouldnt know, but it just seems like common sense to me based on how decisions being made like this have gone all around the world.

making a poll for popular decision and then not going with the popular decision because you never planned to is the very definition of painting yourself into a corner. you ever heard of the united states of america before?

i guess right now would be a good example though, since there is only 7 signups right now and way more ppl voted than 7.

there are more factors than just a paladin poll causing that though, for example a lot of people simply don't have tier c characters haha. the potential max participants is way smaller for this tourney than for any previous. Anyways the only point I was trying to make is smiters aren't op, they are a prime example of a tier c character.
