No foh limit meaning people would have to stack res and apply different builds to counter foh. We dont want that to be essentially the case. Countering a build vs skill on skill or fair dueling would be much more rewarding to new comers and already existing V/t players.
Diversity is limited due to the ability to abuse a few builds.
2 off circ (for smite fant bp) vs 2 pcomb circ vs pcrown vs no skill helm.
vmagi/sshroud vs other armors
sojs vs other rings
2 off ammy vs 2 pcomb ammy vs 1 pal ammy
2 pcomb stick vs honor foh stick.
you wouldn't have to mess with your res at all dependant on the opponent. because if you limit only res everyone runs exactly that amount of res. it's then up to the player if they want to run more foh dmg vs that res amount (at the cost of smite dmg / dr / replife (stick over honor) / etc)
so like if i want to give up 10 replife on the foh side to do a bit more foh dmg with a magic stick it's on me to choose that. if i want to run a 2 off ammy to hit higher smite bp it means i'm doing less foh dmg than my opponent.
ALTHOUGH: now that i look at the skills calc it seems with foh at lvl 3 (no hard pt), +6 comb skills (2 ammy, 2 stick, 2 circ), 5 to all skills (spirit, 2x sojs, and sshroud) FOH dmg = 435 - 485
only with it hard pointed does it go to 465-515, and that would be perf dmg for lld unless im mistaken.
so why limit off 15 screen dmg?
