No one cares anymore. And the people that you are talking about that played back in the day would laugh if they knew someone still cared enough to bring that shit up over and over again.
You can't even compare yourself to the best players that are around today, even less the players that played when this game was competitive.

since you obviously have one, what's your issue here exactly? what are you trying to accomplish? xD
as for comparing myself to other players: in the tournaments i played on europe, i lost duels perhaps to 5 different people in semifinals or finals, and i never entered with the strongest builds.
still don't know who you are, but certainly not one of those 5 people xD
