He finds an advantageous position and stays there as long as he can because there's no incentive for him to move until he loses that advantage.
That's not how I play but I can respect the strategy.

Compare that to distroyall who has been pk'd in the stony field trying to hide behind the cairn stones when the duel started in the blood moor. The only reason he ever showed up on the map at all is by accident when he was running away in the wrong direction.

Visiting east, playing on east, middle-of-buttfuck-nowhere quality wifi connection

Does proximity matter that much? I'm hoping it does so that I can get under 300 ping on my mom's shitty wifi while I visit home lol

Frank has lower ping playing east from the other side of the ocean than I did playing a 1 hour drive from the actual east realm servers
The quality of the connection matters more than the distance to it.
