ive performed in tourneys historically just how other chargers have minus Trev, cough cough 5-3 cough cough. 5-0'd nearly all zons as any charger should, lost to barbs sorcs necs with a few wins per matchup, and beat windys and trappers.

you meatheads just cant get past the idea that someone might be ok with not winning an entire tourney or 5-0'ing the most people, its the only head-space u can fit your fat mugs into.

and still with more handicaps on my chars and setup than basically anyone i get kills in tvt, have fun, can do fine in 1v1 tourneys, and have friends. that last part might seem like a typo to ya'll tho. u play for ears and nothing more.

also this

beta black lotus value tho >>>> all of yugioh

the top 10 most expensive single cards in the world are all yugioh wtf r u going on about?
there were over a thousand lotus' printed there were only ever like 8 or less printed of the current top 10, this is literally my job dude.

tyler the great warrior is a card with only 1 printing ever printed by shonen jump magazine via a contest, and the owner of it has turned down offers of 500 grand, its basically a victory dragon effect card that is tournament legal where as victory dragon itself is banned.

Their called shock lands btw lmao. :) and you arent missing out on much by not going to live in person tabletop events, hence why i said yugioh>mtg as far as paperback goes, because tourneys give better prizes and have larger attendance, mtg on paperback is essentially dead. now if we r talking online, mtg arena will never be topped in a trillion years.

dude i am so down to play some goat format, no game is better imho.

MTG tourneys generally have never been good because it all came down to bigger pockets and who was willing to play the shittiest to play against deck.

i've been playing since 95. i went to national events in 95 to spectate where u saw literally 75% of people running full mox'd, lotus, time walk time vault, ancestral recall decks. only variant was what creature you chose to infinitely ping your opponent with, Hill Giants, Grizzly Bears, etc. each player had a 75% chance to draw an infinite combo on opening and 25% chance to pass turn and likely lose. it was boring af. so ive been playing EDH for almost 20 years instead. way more fun. standard 60 card 4 of format is just a cash box for Wizards. 45 card drafts, cube drafting, or EDH are much better. or even pauper.

jesus lol did not even comprehend that yugioh would have a card worth more than black lotus. never played, have 1 random card that came in an ebay lot i bought and i use it as a bookmark in my deckbox.

this list must be wildly off then. as all but the top two cards are 8k$ or less, aka way less than black lotus.

well the reason is that yugioh has prize cards for big events like worlds and mtg never did that because wizards hates the 2nd hand card market with a passion so the closest thing they ever had to prize cards were like foil cards signed by judges with special one of a kind stamps on them that were gotten at grand prixs before paperback events died and they switched to online for world championships. the actual most expensive mtg card is a foil tarmogoyf with the 2015 grand prix stamp on it, only 1 was packed for draft the entire weekend so only 1 foil with that stamp exists and it sold for like 90 grand or some shit, but it doesnt even crack the top 10.

is edh even 20 yrs old? ive been playing commander from its inception and i dont think its 20 yrs old, i have a dope ass pauper deck that is black blue delver. i prefer mtg arena standard ranked over any card game atm, but if it was paperback not online id say goat format yugioh is my 1st fav and current format yugioh is my 2nd.

yeah its way off, no one who owns any of those cards would sell them at those prices, its probably going by what they were last sold for but people never sell those cards b ecause they will only ever become worth more and more over time, the only accurate prices are the top tied for #1 at name your price.

commander is "new" as of like 2006 or so, but EDH with only the 5 elder dragons as commanders is older. I played a Chromium deck from about 2003 onwards. friend was going to tourneys and people played casual EDH on the side so i learned of it early. legends set was fucking awesome to open when u could go to any LGS and buy fresh packs for only like 1$ more than iceage.

yea i knew the concept was older than the actual format, people have been playing that version of mtg for as far back as i can remember going to my first 5k event in my teenage years.

i just prefer standard ranked mtg arena because its the most heavily played card game in the world if you count online and tabletop both, i can click to play some standard ranked and never wait more than 10 seconds before finding an opponent.

i strongly wish that wizards would code modern into mtg arena but i know they never will because its been their mission to kill that format for eons. they are always trying to create new formats to replace modern but its literally the most favored format in mtgs history so the majority of pro tour players tend to boycott whatever they try and replace it with, wotc hates modern because it favors the 2nd hand sellers (like myself)

no, its literally the yugioh that you said was your favorite, from like 2003-2007.
people who hate the shit you hate about current yugioh play goat control format.

there are no synchros xyz link or pendulums.
