Their called shock lands btw lmao. :) and you arent missing out on much by not going to live in person tabletop events, hence why i said yugioh>mtg as far as paperback goes, because tourneys give better prizes and have larger attendance, mtg on paperback is essentially dead. now if we r talking online, mtg arena will never be topped in a trillion years.
dude i am so down to play some goat format, no game is better imho.
MTG tourneys generally have never been good because it all came down to bigger pockets and who was willing to play the shittiest to play against deck.
i've been playing since 95. i went to national events in 95 to spectate where u saw literally 75% of people running full mox'd, lotus, time walk time vault, ancestral recall decks. only variant was what creature you chose to infinitely ping your opponent with, Hill Giants, Grizzly Bears, etc. each player had a 75% chance to draw an infinite combo on opening and 25% chance to pass turn and likely lose. it was boring af. so ive been playing EDH for almost 20 years instead. way more fun. standard 60 card 4 of format is just a cash box for Wizards. 45 card drafts, cube drafting, or EDH are much better. or even pauper.

the top 10 most expensive single cards in the world are all yugioh wtf r u going on about?
there were over a thousand lotus' printed there were only ever like 8 or less printed of the current top 10, this is literally my job dude.
tyler the great warrior is a card with only 1 printing ever printed by shonen jump magazine via a contest, and the owner of it has turned down offers of 500 grand, its basically a victory dragon effect card that is tournament legal where as victory dragon itself is banned.
jesus lol did not even comprehend that yugioh would have a card worth more than black lotus. never played, have 1 random card that came in an ebay lot i bought and i use it as a bookmark in my deckbox.
