the mining and smithing rework increased the player population back to where theres like 5+ worlds at a time with almost max players and a bunch more with over 1k and more with between 500-800
they made this shit called masterwork armor which takes these special bars that use every bar in the game to make then u gotta fold em and make more bad ass untradable bars and hten u gotta fold those make another even more bad ass untradable bar, it takes something like 600 enriched alloy bars to make the masterwork armor set that requires 99 defense to wear.
there's new tier 50 60 70 80 and 90 ore, and metals, armors etc. game is massive now, that's why, lol. that banks gonna be worth 4x as much in like 3-4 months, the player base legit multiplied by 5 within 2 days. at literally every place u mine now, it mines how deposits used to, like ur always getting xp every swing now, and u do dmg to rocks and u got rockertunities its huge man check it out.
