so it's all vs all?

group stage is all v all, see also my edit (scoring). I really dont want to see people dodging here, or refusing to duel people, as it will impact all players in the tournament.

edit: i have not decided the setup on the last 8 yet. im leaning towards 1vs8 2vs7 etc, I will think about it and decide by this time tomorrow.

Please note that for this tournament I will be changing the points system in both the group stage and the KO stage. If it is successful, I may implement this points system in future tournaments.

5-0 = 10 points (0 points to the loser)
5-1 = 9-1 points (1 point to the loser)
5-2 = 8-2 points (2 points to the loser)
5-3 = 7-3 points (3 points to the loser)
5-4 = 6-4 points (4 points to the loser)
4-5 = 4-6 points (4 points to the loser)
3-5 = 3-7 points (3 points to the loser)
2-5 = 2-8 points (2 points to the loser)
1-5 = 1-9 points (1 point to the loser)
0-5 = 10 points (0 points to the loser)

What this means is that each duel will count towards your total score. i.e. the better your result in each of your duels, the better position you will be in at the end of the group stage.

Also, I have not fully decided yet, but as the KO phase will only see 8 players, I may go with the following KO Phase Setup:

1vs8
3vs5
2vs7
4vs5

I'll review it and seek agreement over the next couple of days.

Some additional info:

In the event that a user is bming, (a) please dont BM! (b) leave the game (c) PM me with info (d) dont get into an argument with your opponent. Please try to keep the topic clean, let your results do the talking for you. Please also do not respond to spam that may/will be posted in the topic, by users not in the tournament.

in conclusion, HF, GL, pm your opponents, arrange a time to duel. This points system is very sensitive so I would really appreciate it if people did not dodge duels or particular opponents and instead actively sought to complete all their duels as soon as possible. As a special note: user Mikeyjd has limited access as he lives on the far side of the world. If users could please try to prioritise their duels with him and arrange a time to meet, it would be greatly appreciated.

If you dodge a duel, you are giving that opponent maximum points (10) which may have an effect on every other entrant(!), so please dont dodge!
