Just showing that it's not that much life rep and it is significantly less mana. And, I just wanted to investigate it anyway.

Don't think you're making up the 8 magic sorb with any extra mdr there.

Good point though, it's a pretty significant stack res advantage (30 single res from each ring?) without having to switch charms.

true, a big problem you'll run into with 125 using a wand is your fhr. with 17 base on a head, 24 on a belt and 10 on boots, you'll suffer a loss of life due to charm swaps, but it's fun to mess around with. little more dmg and with a solid inventory the minor mana loss won't hurt you as bad. Not somthing you would want to do all the time, but I've used it in certain tvt's before for area of effect.
I thnk it's like 16 pvp dmg for the 8 sorb so if you 2x rings with like 5rep 80+mana 2-3mdr /adds you'd only miss ouyt on like 14 dmg overall or close to it.
It's just a fun little thing to play around with.

I agree if we both agree that the word fun=worse in this situation ;)

is this stickied yet?
edit: I must agree that when dueling mikey, standing in place (the necro) int he midst of ponds and shit does seem to be the best strategy- it limits the routes the barb can take to get at them, making it easy to know where to spam the spirits - for necros with less than Ideal gear though I would highly recommend getting the fuck out of there (this stand-in-place-strat) works great for mikey, not so great for #2 and #3 necros

it's the best strategy for anyone with an max spirit dmg/max block setup.

edit: yes it's stickied.

Very nice guide.

I read the last post and wanted to say something about tele barb. Then I read your strategy part. Well said about the barbs.

About vs tele druid though. I think if you keep running south and spearing up, never staying to cast more than one spear a time, you'll be fine vs chain lockers. Maybe a well played non-chainlocker would give you more trouble.

About the hammerdin. I think a well played hammerdin really won't lose to a necro, assuming the necro won't use the skills generally considered "BM".

With a shael, you're only gaining +1 to a single skill (or 1 all, 1 single skills with 15 fcr belt -- don't know what the fhr is on that), 5 life rep, and 45 additional life from this equip overall, which kind of takes away from the point of even using it.

My belt has 5 rep in addition to 15fcr, and I only need an 8%fhr Large Charm (-30life) to hit my breakpoint.

decrypify/bone prison/endless bone wall spamming or enclosing yourself

To clarify: I don't consider them BM. It's just what most people would compaint about.
