I don't believe the poster is even considering robo/robo ampos but I think its worth mentioning to those who are interested, that according to my math (which I checked and re-checked but is never immune from error)
With peace, I was doing (CS considered, at a total of 51% via 38%/peace and 21%/mastery -- I did NOT stack the two) around 980ish per attack. keep in mind, however, the crit calculations were based on my having +1 all skills from battle command and +1 all from another item.
With Ampos, the dmg was around 915 per attack(21% cs considered)-
about a 65 or 70 dmg discrepancy - lets say 11 pvp dmg - let's again say (just for example's sake) that it takes 7 hits to kill your opponent - you've lost 77 pvp dmg over the 7 hits.
what this means is when compared to peace, Ampos offers -77 dmg (per duel, estimated every step of the way) and 135+ life -
so your opponent gains +77 hp while you gain +135.
of course with a slightly lower crit % than I had (you probably wont have +2 all, unless using honor) the dmg difference margin narrows, making the +130 life even more worthwhile -
I really do think the peace vs. ampos issue comes down to preference- a little more dmg versus a sizeable life bonus - while robo vs honor to me is an easier choice (a lot more dmg versus a smidge of everything, some of which you may not need at all for the person you're dueling)
I also don't think robo/robo or robo/honor has to necessarily be tied to either armor option.
edit: I do believe my "per attack" calculations were done with a 69 or 70max ampos, not a 72. (again narrowing the dmg gap)
