also found this little tidbit in addition to the above paste and copy, lol. its referring to dual weilding

While a target is in range, one of the weapons' speed is
constantly used to calculate the next hit-check frame. If there's no target in
range, the game will alternate between weapon speeds to calculate the next
hit-check frame.

so the bonuses are becoming slimmer and slimmer - however you aren't using a +15 all res amulet as far as I know but If I remember correctly your helm has + all res-
how do you figure the extra pt in nat. res wouldn't help your cold stack? we're talking about +1 on honor, you could still use peace if you wanted

ah, I see- you thought when I said "that crits" was referring to the usage of peace when instead I was talking about honor
edit: cool thread - 24 hours ago I think a lot more people would've pushed for robo/honor, I havne't been around long but this is the first time I've seen a topic in this section somewhat thoroughly bust a gear route that's been widely considered the standard
pros and cons either way, for sure - but I think the balance has been tipped in the last several pages
second edit: gotcha @ comment #104

I've found the arguments for the two setups (Robo/robo/peace and robo/honor/lifer plate) to be compelling on both sides of the equation.

I am still slightly in favor of robo/robo/peace. The robo/honor/lifer plate combo will give you like 160 - 200 hps(post-BO), some ar and some frw, depending on your BO level. That's great but it doesn't match up to 1512 damage difference between setups. Personally, I just can't justify it's use vs Robo/Robo/Peace.

Another thing we haven't really talked about is the fact that you can change robos quite a bit, they can be incredibly versatile. 1512 damage is a massive enough damage advantage over the other setups, that you could easily sub-out some of the damage to cover other vital stats a LLD barb will need taken care of, such as mana or ar.

I don't believe the poster is even considering robo/robo ampos but I think its worth mentioning to those who are interested, that according to my math (which I checked and re-checked but is never immune from error)

With peace, I was doing (CS considered, at a total of 51% via 38%/peace and 21%/mastery -- I did NOT stack the two) around 980ish per attack. keep in mind, however, the crit calculations were based on my having +1 all skills from battle command and +1 all from another item.

With Ampos, the dmg was around 915 per attack(21% cs considered)-
about a 65 or 70 dmg discrepancy - lets say 11 pvp dmg - let's again say (just for example's sake) that it takes 7 hits to kill your opponent - you've lost 77 pvp dmg over the 7 hits.

what this means is when compared to peace, Ampos offers -77 dmg (per duel, estimated every step of the way) and 135+ life -

so your opponent gains +77 hp while you gain +135.

of course with a slightly lower crit % than I had (you probably wont have +2 all, unless using honor) the dmg difference margin narrows, making the +130 life even more worthwhile -

I really do think the peace vs. ampos issue comes down to preference- a little more dmg versus a sizeable life bonus - while robo vs honor to me is an easier choice (a lot more dmg versus a smidge of everything, some of which you may not need at all for the person you're dueling)

I also don't think robo/robo or robo/honor has to necessarily be tied to either armor option.

edit: I do believe my "per attack" calculations were done with a 69 or 70max ampos, not a 72. (again narrowing the dmg gap)

btw ignoring the damage you still have to remember than 80 life is like 125 life on a barb and slow missile is bm

vouch this guy he seems pretty smart
