druid: tele windy is the best build but only jebsus & trix play it. middles made one in a single day and played a tournament but thats as far as ive seen him play. spraynard also had a very successful fury druid, but thats among the worse build in lld :copium:

barbarian: trix i think is the better tele ww barb pilot. madirish is the best geared but plays it slower.

lld101 group. pretty much every tournament organisers are part of that community. rules are openly discussed with every participants and mind blast + traps was banned as a result of wsg removal. you can stunlock people infinitely otherwise. patch 2.4 brings a fhr fix for pvp however, so that rule will invariably be removed.
but yes, we are much more active with rules-changing on d2r.

everything i said in my previous post was regarding 1v1 play. tvt has too many variables to judge someone from it alone. its harder to isolate players for their merit alone. one could very well be team-carried or have strong synergies alongside their character (bowzon+aura, etc).

1v1 is all about pilot, gear, and matchup. no other variables (except for ping for our poor EU players).

I wouldn’t be joining any tournaments as I only enjoy teams anyways
I also don’t kick or df on my sin as I use a tele stick

From what I hear it’s euro players setting euro rules and nobody has any say otherwise

yeah, that isnt true at all.
ive seen 2-4 euro players. there are 50 to 100 LLDers in total on d2r. the rules are similar to EU because they were more 1v1 focused whereas ive heard americas was mostly about tvt.

btw, there have been team tournaments as well :)

That’s sweet man but I don’t get why my favorite character to play is dumbed down because it finally got a buff?

So bowas and fireballers get to run the show once again?

its not rly a buff, it literally makes people unable to do anything against you. people literally cant move. it had to be banned.

bowzons got significantly nerfed in 1v1 in d2r (no str bugged boots, no synch, no wsg). we also have no bots & dupes so jewels and good items will take much, much longer to appear. no bowzon have won a 1v1 event so far.

fb is a problem that is being actively worked on (super strong in 1v1 & tvt). a 85 fire res rule was recently implemented and there are ongoing discussions about more, like 0 rep or no ES on fire sorc.

a lot of people involved means decisions take longer (consensus is harder to reach). but if you want my opinion, im having more fun in d2r than i ever had on east back when i played in 2007. i didnt think id play d2r for more than a couple of weeks, and yet here i am months later, playing way too much xD

They probably haven’t won an event because they are losing to the only counter they have (fire sorc)
Bowas on east do just fine vs anything else besides fb without even using wsg

He was probably using df tho? I can’t imagine any bowas having godly gear yet this early. All I know is they can win without wsg
