Mage Plate, Breast Plate, Light Plate*, And yea, 10 life isn't exactly a 'little' deal for these people. Though, statistically, it probably doesn't add up to anything over a 100 duels.

I don't understand why being optimized they would go for the exact same armor with a lower def base just because a str req especially when they would already have the str req for the more def base?

Melee uses eth/rep 80%+ edef ornate plate

charger/bowazon/fury/bvc use lower str 3 soc / 80 life armor

10 life is a big deal because these lower str armors can be shopped, so they're a fairly common armor to find with 80 life. so u wont pay 50 fg for your armor, put 300 fg worth of jewels into it, when u can pay 200 fg for a 77+ life one without FRW malus base. or 500 fg for an eth/rep ornate for a melee to use and gain a massive defense bonus.

Reality is 70 life isnt perfect so you wont want to put any jewels that are worth much in it cause youd have nice jewels stuck in a permanently shit armor

is run malus a thing here?
