Tend to not need res because you have close to 150 from vmagi/anya/ nat res already… jewels in staff don’t matter at all unless you need str on swap for certain set ups.

A 60 ias staff would be hilarious to beat someone down with for the humiliation factor.

Mana does matter because having more mana on staff side, especially while rocking a 105fcr setup in mages/fcr belt will regen a lot more mana if you have any mana issues vs things like es sorc/hammerdin based tvts that you see often. And I gotta be real with you here man the thing about cold stack on a barb’s staff is just really crazy. I feel like you’re coming from an MLD Druid’s perspective where they probably don’t carry max cold res AND attack from staff side. Druids match their staff cold res with whatever’s on their shield. A barb can’t really match the cold res from staff side on their nagas lol which would make very little sense.. so I’m not trying to sound like a jerk but lol it’s not even remotely a fringe benefit it’s just stupid to do.

Do you have 100ish cold stack? If not, there is a fringe benit to having stack on staff side because a small fraction of the time it would mean you take less damage. Thats called a fringe benefit. Its not going to matter much most of the time, but at this point im just nitpicking. Theat barb is beautiful. It just seemed odd to me seeing all those optimized items and a lacklustre staff.

my zerker had a 3 os tele staff magic one, 3x shael'd. it was still slow as hell and i gave up trying to tele chase tele stick zerk.... swap worked better sadly

Bro beans, I have enough cold res without making sacrifices to the character..why are we having this complete disconnect over a Telestaff? We’ve literally discussed all kinds of dueling theory etc lol and you can’t seem to absorb why a barb wouldn’t stack cold res on his Telestaff bro.

A telestick is an integral part of a telebarb... but the stats on the stick don’t matter lol so people either maximize life potential, enhance their mana regen ability, or do something like avenged did and glitch 12 str if you restrict yourself to using IK gloves exclusively.

Also to beat this horse into a pulp, you don’t want to have cold res on your staff THAT YOU DONT HAVE ON YOUR NAGA SIDE THAT YOU ATTACK FROM. Why the fuck would I have 165 cold res on staff side and less than that on my naga side? So now when I actually whirlwind through a sorc standing in her own blizz while ice blasting and reflecting shiver armor damage I’ll be taking a shit load more damage. ORRRRR my staff side would have cold res in excess like having more dex on a shield than you need-completely pointless.

Having a trophy image doesn’t mean that every single item on the character will be a trophy for every single character. For instance, I don’t advertise my rings as the best bvb rings because well fcr is a useless suffix in bvb. So if you’d asked me why my rings don’t have 5min or something on them.. I’d be wondering why you thought I needed that mod lol. And the same goes for the stick, it’s not lackluster it’s a 2os green gnarled lol it’s just not validating your idea of a “good telestick”... but your idea of a “good telestick” doesn’t make any sense on a barb

Next trophy post I’ll just put “green telestick” in the description and avoid the severe complications lol
