Cyclone recast is much less effective vs a trapper on euro where wsg isn't allowed. Even with recast, you will mindblast and traps xan just slowly grind you down

with 117/86 BP's - Its not safe to perma stomp a nec with a light sorc. Certainly not an ESLight anyway. I mean you can do it vs a bowa because you have max block but vs a nec your getting hit while stomping. Using brute force (i.e. ignoring the hits received) is to my mind just not clean pvping unless said brute force allways works. Thats why I would instead advocate jumping all around him, dodging spirits while attacking, and jumping only when you see a window (i.e. when his spirits are not going to suddenly dump on you).

I guess if you have an Amazing Orb (something like the one shown above or 2Light/20FCR/3Lightning/3Mastery/3thunderstorm) you could potentially out damage the Nec in which case yes, you might attain the critical damage threshold that allows you to perma stomp ftw.

in terms of using a lower breakpoint, i mean Spirits FCR and FHR make this the go-to for just about every sorc build. The mobility granted by 105/86 over lower breakpoints (this applies to all sorc's) could be similarly compared to the mobility of 30frw boots vs craft boots with only 10frw. i.e. you dont need to do more damage, you just need to be hard to catch and hard to kill, which 105/86 assists with. This is why even on a Blizz I dont advocate an Orb (unless Vita) or lower breakpoints. While you can still win w/o 30frw boots, without spirit your giving up certain benefits over and above a 20frw loss.

I will try to get an Orb to test out a Vita build utilising that setup. can always update the guide on a later date.

I did hundreds of rounds as es light sorc (Im not good sorc player) vs nec (dany aka Vadskajahegaga something on siredwards nec) and with spirit + 28mdr it's just too easy, 5-0 most of times.
the other way around he was too strong on sorc and idk how to play nec
orb setup (less fhr) is more interesting duel imo (for 1 v 1) because you can't just facestomp nec dps would be too low

i can put you on my light sorc and you can duel lee using perma stomp. provided your d2 does'nt have all those pvm mods on it that might get the a/c banned.
this applies to anything btw, i can put you on any char in nonladder or a sorc or libby in ladder if you want to join tvt's.

either way i can do a ft50 vs lee and post the results later (stomping). both of us are probably equally skilled (i.e. not the best but the test is sound).
the point is not to win or lose but to determine how well a strategy works.

Fosho I feel that. Tbh, in my experience on euro the no-wsg vs trap was a thing, just awkwardly fringe where you switch a tad slower but still are immune to mb stun in one place, and after like 3 duels straight up disappeared(me on trapper)
