One dark, cold, rainy night, Linny was walking back to his encampment after defeating his nemesis, the Blood Raven. No matter how many times he slayed her, she always seemed to return in the next game. Friends were hard to come by, nobody else seemed to be interested in joining him to slay the Blood Raven all day long to reach level 9.
Things were going perfectly fine, he was following the path back the way he always did, poison nova-ing the local monsters. Suddenly, a flash flew by his screen, with the sound of thousands of footsteps following. Linny continued on his path, thinking it was thunder, until it happened again. THUMPTHUMPTHUMP x infinity, the footsteps whizzed by. Worried, he gripped his specially made wand and prepared to lower any defense to his poison this monster might have. Was it a unique? He couldn't tell, it was off his screen. For a third time, the footsteps pounded past him, and Linny's curse missed its mark. "Damn thing... how the hell does it move like that..." he pondered as he kept a weary eye out. Suddenly, footsteps pounding, the thing created a green aura, which transferred onto Linny himself. "What the-" BOOOOM!!!! Lightning struck Linny, knocking him off his feet, as white bolts shot from the spot. He lay on the ground, hardly believing he was still alive. He had never heard of lightning striking a person, especially with so many tall objects around. He got up and continued, keeping his eyes open. Perhaps the lightning scared the creature away.
But perhaps not. Again he heard the footsteps running, this time straight for him, and not past him. Linny casted his curse, finally landing it on the monster. The curse lit up the monsters eyes and face as the monster charged towards Linny. Linny cried, "you're a ni-" sLAM! Linny was crushed to the floor, and the monster did his strange run back into the abyss. Linny now thought he was facing an extremely gifted black athlete, who had incredible strength and completely ignored Linny's preserved head's blocking abilities. He continued onwards, knowing he was getting closer to the rogue encampment.
Hearing the familiar footsteps, he began poison nova-ing, he was on his 3rd nova when the unthinkable happened- BOOOOOM!!! Struck by lightning again, knocked to the floor, and hearing ribs crack, Linny began to grow angry. Who ever heard of being struck by lightning twice? He thought for a second, and realized it must be this mysterious black man casting lightning. No sooner was he on his feet when the black man creature knocked him to the floor with his thundering feet attack. Linny dodged as the stranger thrust his shield at his head with uncanny speed. The stranger charged away.
Glimpsing the encampment mere screens away, Linny began running, his 2x 3frw scs helping him increase his velocity. Ahead, he saw the black man. Around him were a field of hammers. Linny knew he would have to run through the field to make it home safely to Akara. He already lost over half his mana, 3/4 of his health, and needed stamina. He decided to make one last effort, he saved enough stamina, and ran through the field towards safety. THUD! CRACK! One hammer, two hammers, three, he was completely knocked down, dead on the floor. Linny had enough strength to utter 3 last words... "What are you?" The stranger replied, "I'm a paladin." Linny exited the match, never trusting the black race again, and forever hating their existance in his otherwise perfect world.
