it's delusional as fuck to believe we could put together a 3v3 tournament with all of these restrictions. look at what happened when asylum tried having an event with a shit ton of restrictions, 6 ppl showed up and he decided to hate me for pointing out simple holes in the rules. and that was just 1v1.

imo the ONLY way a 3v3 event is going to work, or happen at all, is with no restrictions outside of the normal lld rules. and even then it will be hard to get 6 specific ppl on at once. but trying to do it with like 4 dif popular builds banned? forget about it, its nothing more than a fallacy to think that will work.

Not to disrespect your opinion or any thing but I still feel hdin for 3vs3 is a bit busted.

esfb is even more busted than hdin, zon is just as busted as hdin, barb is a lil less busted than hdin but still busted.

it doesn't matter though, you put restrictions like that on an already hard to put together event, and it just wont happen.

i'd suggest you learn to play something besides smiter if you have a shit attention span and can't guess where hammer fields will be but my suggestion would fall on deaf ears because people have been telling you this for yrs to no avail.

smiter can catch fb and beat it in tvt for the same reasons you die on smiter to random hammer fields, because the fber isnt paying attention to you.
smiter can catch zon and beat it in tvt just like fb.
smiter can stick with a teammate and beat an incoming barb.

so let's not pretend it isn't obvious why YOU of all ppl wouldn't want hdin to be allowed over the other just as powerful chars.

Agreed with pub games. I think the best organized events are mirror teams personally, that way it isn’t excluding a bunch of builds but rather focusing on a bracket. fpk lld for example. There are plenty of necs sins and barbs, windys being the least common are cheap and easy to make too

Randomized teams would be hilarious, guessing some people would just wait to see teams, be displeased with not being on op team, and drop from tourney tho. But that would be the funniest way to go about it imo XD

Well actually bru, even if I mained hdin I wouldnt want to address it for 3vs3. I mean alot of what you said is true but let's not make this about me. I'm down to promote what ever works at a fun and competitive scene.

In all honesty I'm thinking I'd go trapper, which btw would mind blast be too much for 3vs3?

Every legal char has a hard counter though, so i see no reason to ban certain chars, apart from maybe esfb if for no other reason than to promote shorter duels, and prevent any 1v4 sorces from playing.

but even esfb has psn zon as a hard counter.
hdin has zon and sin as hard counters, so on so forth.



The facts are, a completely unrestricted 3v3 tourney would get the most signups.

what matt/ted are suggesting would get less signups and favor certain players over others for example, i agree with trev that sin nec barb mirror 3s would come down to best barb.

if completely unrestricted with randomized team mates that would get the most most signups, cause if it isnt randomized teams it would be a very small event because it would be an obvious pride fest between groups of people who have been beefing over the forums forever and none of the regular players will want to get caught in the crossfire. it would basically be L i B vs snapchat circle jerk. and no regular players will want to get caught in the middle of that shit storm, lets just be real here lmao.
