I think it's a good idea for a nice/fun 1vs1 tourney but I will abandon it due to lack of enthusiasm and general bad feedback. Maybe next time!!!

Love the creativity this would be fun if it were to happen, would be huge for espn ratings aswell. I’d like to see something like class wars like 4 zons vs 4 barbs, no clones so each character must be a different type of zon or barb. Assassin Asylum vs Druid Grove type action, with your point system somehow implemented would crush the ratings

I agree. Every tounament will be flawed in one way or another, simply because diablo 2 wasnt meant to be a low level dueling game. That being said, i like the unique approach to class balancing.

Because there’s a lot of very lopsided matches it would make sense to do point based.

Like disadvantaged vs advantaged builds;
Bowa VS firewall
Hdin VS bowa
Charger vs WW barb

Etc

I’m not sure how far down into the detail it needs to go though. Like I’d take the biggest disadvantaged matches and change the points. But some of the more even stuff probably leave alone and not try too hard with. Like nec vs trap etc is fine
