lvl 18 you have 3 choices:

1. best char by far, charger/zealer

2. good char, bowa zon

3. decent char that can compete but needs a lot of gear and experience, pnb necro, fissure druid, throw barb, psy hammer sin, b fury sin, ice blast sorc, etc

I think im going to try the bowzon route. I always liked playing a zon.

The first char i ever beat the game with norm to hell single player no cheats/hacks/char editor was a bow zon back in 1.09.

30s most poppin

Yeah, i figured as much. I do like the idea of the lower dules a lot but after reading this thread lvl 30 does sound fun. Ill get a char rushed and lvled to 30 to start finding gear for, but mainly focus on lvl 18 to start.

make an over powered 40+ rep fire wall sorc that uses all uniques and kill everything

hld is way faster paced than mld man lol.

they have higher fcr frames.

im sure thats true, i havent hld'd in too long to know. i just know i dont like the speed of 49, reminds me of 18 charge v charge speed

oh for sure, i'm with you on this subject lol.
i feel like 30 is the best overall speed for dueling, it's not too slow like 18 caster v caster, or too fast like 49, and has the perfect amount of skill/strategy vs speed ratio.

Most people who build 49s aim for glass cannon i.e All skills, no frills. But the reality is that if they stack res, the format typically slows down its pace because chars have more survivability ( but usually at the cost of their own damage output)
